About the Role
The Parker Jewish Institute is seeking qualified Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Nursing team. We are looking for empathetic LPNs focused on providing the best quality of life for every patient, with patience and tactful interactions.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement resident care on assigned units.
- Supervise CNAs.
- Provide outstanding patient-centered care.
- Emphasize patient safety and staff work satisfaction.
Requirements
- Current and valid NYS LPN license.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Recent, relevant experience working with the geriatric population is a plus; newly licensed LPNs are hired.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Must be friendly and sociable.
- Ability to provide comfort to patients with good interpersonal skills, both verbal and in writing.
- Must be a team member who embraces a high level of care, compassion, and teamwork.
