About the Role
Our Corporate Positioning and Insights practice seeks a talented, versatile Project Manager with 5-7 years of experience to join the team in our New York, Chicago or Washington, D.C. office. This role is ideal for someone who excels at translating complex requirements into clear plans, has sharp instincts for quality control and timelines, and can move seamlessly between client-facing strategy and hands-on execution across a mix of website projects, digital campaigns, and creative production. You'll work in close partnership with clients, internal teams, and creative strategists, serving as the driving force that keeps projects on track from kickoff to delivery.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of multiple concurrent projects — spanning website builds, digital campaigns, and creative production — from initial briefing to final delivery
- Develop comprehensive project plans and timelines that align execution with client goals and business objectives, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks
- Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison between clients, internal teams, and stakeholders, translating strategic goals into clear, actionable plans and providing updates throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage project budgets and resources, and provide strategic input into the scoping, budgeting, and roll-out of client initiatives
- Maintain and evolve internal workflows and project management systems, and run analytics to monitor and report on project performance
- Contribute to new business pursuits, helping craft approaches, budgets, and scopes
- Mentor and guide junior team members, supporting their growth and development
- Maintain awareness of current industry trends, technical solutions, and best practices
Requirements
- 5-7 years of project management, content production, technical strategy, and/or digital strategy experience, ideally with direct experience working with creative teams
- Proven track record managing multiple complex projects and teams simultaneously, including mentoring junior staff
- Knowledge of content management systems (Drupal, WordPress, etc.)
- Proficiency in Asana or similar project management software
- Strong aptitude for and working knowledge of digital tools, social platforms, and technologies
- Experience writing or reviewing technical and functional requirements, wireframes, and website designs
- Comfortable crafting and presenting project-related materials to clients, partners, and senior team members
- Highly developed interpersonal, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to balance big-picture strategy and attention to detail
- Strong, adaptable leadership with a positive, proactive attitude under deadline pressure
- 4-year college degree
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; the employer will not sponsor applicants for work visas
