About the Role

Join the Developer Experience Platform team to shape the future of autonomous mobility. This team enables product teams to develop, operate, and maintain services efficiently and compliantly, focusing on agentic coding while maintaining high security standards.

Responsibilities

  • Gain an in-depth understanding of MOIA's challenges and contribute to solving them with a visionary and implementable view for the software development lifecycle.
  • Create and realize a roadmap that turns company strategy into a focused and actionable plan.
  • Join forces with Staff Engineers and Technical Leads to share technical and business-critical responsibilities.
  • Contribute to the code, with hands-on development expected.
  • Collaborate with developers to create solutions.
  • Discuss complex technical challenges.
  • Prioritize effectively for the company and the team.
  • Operate SaaS or similar systems in front of customers.
  • Make systems reliable and recoverable.
  • Communicate well, evoking optimism and adjusting messaging to different stakeholders.
  • Inspire people by translating domain expertise into clear language.
  • Ask questions to refine understanding.
  • Find the balance between business, stakeholder, and user needs.
  • Create a shared understanding for prioritization.
  • Think big and craft compelling visions for ideas.
  • Understand product value contribution to the company.

Requirements

  • Technical enthusiast confident in discussions with experts.
  • Ability to manage multiple internal technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in high-performance teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a startup-like culture and translate to/from enterprise environments.
  • Experience with or inside technical teams.
  • Experience operating SaaS or similar systems in front of customers.
  • Experience making systems reliable and recoverable.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to adjust messaging to different stakeholders.
  • Ability to inspire people by translating domain expertise into clear language.
  • Ability to ask questions to refine understanding.
  • Mastered the skill of finding the balance between business, stakeholder, and user needs.
  • Ability to create a shared understanding for prioritization.
  • Ability to think big and craft compelling visions.
  • Ability to understand product value contribution.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between technical and business worlds.
  • Ability to get things done, make sound decisions, and resolve issues effectively.
  • Open to learning and getting hands-on in development.
  • Know at least one programming language in depth.
  • Fluent communication in English is required.
  • Understanding of German is a plus.
