About the Role

The Partner Manager, Technology Alliances is responsible for building and growing Diligent's technology ecosystem by identifying, developing, and managing strategic technology partnerships that enhance our platform, accelerate product innovation, and create differentiated customer solutions. This role serves as the primary bridge between Product, Engineering, and the Partner organization, ensuring technology partnerships align with Diligent's long-term product strategy while delivering measurable commercial outcomes through integrations, joint solutions, and go-to-market initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Diligent's technology partnership strategy aligned to corporate and product priorities.
  • Continuously assess the technology landscape to identify emerging partners, market trends, and ecosystem opportunities.
  • Evaluate build, buy, or partner opportunities in collaboration with Product and Engineering.
  • Identify strategic partnerships that expand platform capabilities and improve customer outcomes.
  • Partner closely with Product Management to influence product strategy through external technology partnerships.
  • Identify technologies that accelerate innovation or address product capability gaps.
  • Coordinate roadmap discussions between Product, Engineering, and strategic partners.
  • Champion partner requirements internally while balancing business priorities.
  • Own executive relationships with strategic ISVs, data providers, platform providers, integration partners, and complementary technology vendors.
  • Develop joint business plans and executive engagement strategies.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews and strategic planning sessions.
  • Negotiate partnership objectives and coordinate cross-functional execution.
  • Prioritize integration opportunities based on customer demand and business value.
  • Drive successful onboarding and launch of new integrations.
  • Coordinate Product, Engineering, Partner Success, and partner technical teams throughout implementation.
  • Ensure integrations are scalable, secure, well documented, and successfully adopted.
  • Develop joint value propositions and solution offerings.
  • Execute co-marketing campaigns, webinars, events, and product launches.
  • Enable Sales and Partner teams with positioning, messaging, and solution plays.
  • Support strategic customer opportunities involving technology partners.
  • Collaborate on marketplace initiatives and joint selling where applicable.
  • Define and manage KPIs for each technology partnership, including integration adoption, customer utilization, partner-influenced pipeline, revenue influenced, joint solution launches, product adoption, and marketplace performance.
  • Maintain partner program compliance, certifications, and technical requirements.
  • Provide executive reporting on ecosystem health and partnership performance.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in Technology Alliances, Strategic Partnerships, Product Partnerships, or Business Development within enterprise SaaS.
  • Demonstrated success managing technology ecosystems and strategic ISV relationships.
  • Experience collaborating with Product Management and Engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, SaaS integrations, cloud technologies, and enterprise software architecture.
  • Ability to influence executive stakeholders both internally and externally.
