About the Role
A. Duie Pyle is seeking a full-time Inbound Dockworker to join our team in Maspeth, NY. This role is responsible for safely transporting freight on and off trailers, and verifying related documentation via electronic and manual systems.
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading freight on trailers using appropriate equipment – forklift or electric pallet jack
- Picking, staging, and securing freight inside trailers to ensure safe transport
- Utilizing document management system to track and monitor freight shipment locations throughout the terminal
- Communicating with terminal personnel and drivers
- Maintain a flexible schedule, including but not limited to day and night shifts, weekends and or holiday work
- Operating with a customer service first mentality
Requirements
- Ability to safely operate equipment and follow all company and government safety rules and regulations
- Ability to read, write and speak English; communicate effectively

Salary/Compensations
- $24.30 per hour + $0.70 shift differential, increasing to $29.70 after 12 months
- Overtime after 40 hours
