About the Role
The Manager, Benefits leads the functions for all Eataly North America locations, ensuring accurate and timely benefits tracking and processing. This role will develop creative and cost-effective approaches to delivering a highly valued, comprehensive employee benefit portfolio, including health, welfare, and retirement programs.
Responsibilities
- Manage operational aspects of employee benefits programs including 401(k), defined contribution, and defined benefit retirement plans, health, life, and Voluntary insurance plans.
- Own annual open enrollment process, including development of communications materials, coordination of information sessions and enrollers, and administration of enrollment changes within HRIS and with vendors.
- Provide internal education and training as a subject matter expert on employee benefit programs, leave management, and worker’s compensation, and applicable regulations and laws.
- Assist, educate and guide employees through the benefits enrollment process.
- Develop, implement and co-manage wellness programs and perks programs to support the overall total health management strategy.
- Lead employee communication programs to educate and gain participation in benefit and wellness programs.
- Research, investigate and resolve complex escalated issues involving benefit programs and administration.
- Manage FMLA, paid parental leave, and any other leave administration.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Requirements
- 5 + years of related experience
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, motivation, and team-building skills
- Extensive understanding of federal and state employee benefit regulations, (e.g. ERISA, HIPAA, etc.)
- Experience with Ceridian|Dayforce software is preferred
- Able to act with discretion in managing confidential information
