About the Role

Delphi Care Solutions Ltd is seeking accomplished Interim/Turnaround Managers to join their Task Force Team on a freelance contractor basis. This role involves transforming underperforming care homes across the UK's adult care sector, focusing on improving CQC ratings and implementing sustainable change.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive operational diagnostics to identify root causes of underperformance.
  • Implement immediate stabilising measures for crisis situations.
  • Develop CQC compliance roadmaps across all Key Lines of Enquiry.
  • Restructure care delivery systems to ensure sustainable quality improvements.
  • Prepare homes for successful mock and actual CQC inspections.
  • Deliver complete handover documentation with maintained improvements.
  • Manage stakeholders throughout each assignment.

Requirements

  • Registered Manager with a valid NMC PIN (with Clinical Experience) or a NVQ Level 5 Leadership & Management (with Non-Clinical Experience).
  • Proven success in turning around 'Inadequate' or 'Requires Improvement' services.
  • At least 5 years of recent experience in a registered manager role in the healthcare industry, preferably in a care home setting.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for care homes in the UK.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to rapidly assess, decide and implement effective solutions.
  • Experience in managing budgets and staffing.
  • Access to own vehicle.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Enhanced DBS registered with the rolling update system.
  • Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance.
