About the Role

Curtis Power Solutions, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, has an opening for an premium level experienced Power Generation Field Service Technician. This role offers a rewarding work environment, excellent pay and benefits, and an opportunity for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled tasks in the diagnosis of malfunctions, repairs, preventative maintenance, adjustments, and overhauls
• Commitment to safety and cleanliness
• Maintain open communication with management team regarding job status, updates, and changes
• Use low and high voltage load banks for testing and repair of generator sets
• Determine corrective action through inspection of failed parts
• Order replacement parts and services in efficient and effective manner
• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs to the engine, generator, or components
• Perform startup and commissioning on large genset units with automatic transfer switches

Requirements

• Technician roles are physically demanding and require prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
• Occasional heavy lifting and pushing/pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds (or more) may be required.
• While performing the duties of this job, the Technician will frequently use hands to manipulate and grasp objects; reach with hands and arms; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, stretch, or twist to perform repairs and inspections.
• Good vision to inspect repair work and effective communication are essential.
• Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
• A technician may work in areas with temperature and/or humidity extremes.
• All offers of employment are contingent upon passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
