About the Role
Seeking a freelance instructor (w/m/d) for German/Communication classes at our vocational school for social assistants, starting August 24, 2026. The role involves teaching foundational communication skills to aspiring social assistants in a classroom setting.
Responsibilities
- Preparation and follow-up of lessons in the cross-curricular subject German/Communication according to the Berlin framework curriculum for vocational schools for social assistance.
- Conducting lessons in a social assistant training class.
- Grading student performance.
- Participating in grade conferences and team meetings.
- Documenting attendance and absence, and lesson topics in the digital class register.
Requirements
- A diploma, Magister, or Master's degree, or current enrollment in such a program, in German teaching, language pedagogy, German studies with proof of pedagogical suitability, literary studies with proof of pedagogical suitability, linguistics with proof of pedagogical suitability, or similar fields.
- Relevant teaching experience is desirable.
- High subject-matter and social competence.
- Ability for independent work and a high degree of initiative and responsibility.
