About the Role
Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School-Age Childcare Assistants for our Before and After School Programs at Marie Curie Institute for the 2026–2027 school year. This role is ideal for individuals who love working with children and supporting their growth.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities, as well as homework completion.
- Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children in the program.
- Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
- Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 preferred.
- Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.

- Morning Program: 7:00 - 8:30 am
- Afternoon Program: 2:45 - 6:00 pm

Salary/Compensations
- $16.00 per hour
