About the Role
The Hilton Garden Inn Corning Downtown is seeking a driven Laundry Attendant to ensure all linens are cleaned to the highest standards and assist the housekeeping team in stocking guest rooms with fresh linens and towels. Daytime hours with weekend availability are required.
Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold all hotel linens
- Operate commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines
- Inspect all linens and towels for stains, tears, and damage
- Report any damaged or missing items to the Housekeeping Manager
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry room
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a hotel laundry or housekeeping role preferred
- Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
