About the Role
A 32-year-old female is looking for a mentor to help her explore her community, engage in volunteering activities, exercise and learn money management. She enjoys going to the YMCA, shopping at the thrift and discount stores, utilizing the local library, and visiting local parks. She may be open to volunteering. The ideal candidate is creative and engaging, active, and patient, and willing to travel to different locations. The ideal candidate would also need coach individual through situations that she feels are stressful and encourage her to take advantage of all that is offered while on outings.
Responsibilities
- Help the individual explore her community
- Engage in volunteering activities

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work independently in the person’s home and/or community
- Reliable with effective communication and organizational skills
- New York State Driver's license required
- Reliable transportation required
- Proof of auto insurance required
- Acceptable driving record required
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule required
