About the Role
As a Google Cloud Solution Architect, you will design and present customized GCP target architectures for clients, focusing on Data & AI, core system modernization, and sovereignty. You will also create proposals, define technical assumptions, scope services, and estimate effort to minimize change request risks. Additionally, you will prepare and conduct deep-dive workshops with enterprise architects, IT management, and IT security personnel, and guide clients on technical issues. You will also design Proof of Concepts, validate prototypes to demonstrate feasibility and value, and ensure seamless handover of architectural concepts to PwC implementation teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and present customized GCP target architectures for clients, focusing on Data & AI, core system modernization, and sovereignty.
- Create proposals, define technical assumptions, scope services, and estimate effort to minimize change request risks.
- Prepare and conduct deep-dive workshops with enterprise architects, IT management, and IT security personnel.
- Guide clients on technical issues.
- Design Proof of Concepts and validate prototypes to demonstrate feasibility and value.
- Ensure seamless handover of architectural concepts to PwC implementation teams.
Requirements
- Completed studies in (business) informatics, industrial engineering, or a comparable field.
- Several years of practical experience in designing and implementing enterprise IT architectures, preferably with a focus on Google Cloud Platform.
- Valid certification as Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Data Engineer, or Professional AI Engineer; additional certifications are advantageous.
- Sound knowledge in identity and access protection, network topologies, data security, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., BSI C5, DORA, GDPR).
- Ability to communicate highly complex technical issues understandably and benefit-oriented to both IT specialists and business decision-makers.
- Very good German and English language skills.
