About the Role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming campus environment. Provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with students, staff, and visitors, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, common spaces, and exterior perimeters to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, building access procedures, and general campus information while maintaining a professional presence.
Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to campus contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
