About the Role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Watertown, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for guests, tenants, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Bring strong communication and customer service skills while working with an agile, reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail property, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report unusual conditions or policy violations according to site procedures.
Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
