About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist staff and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, entrances, waiting areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directing individuals to appropriate areas while supporting facility access procedures.
- Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Requirements
- Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
