About the Role

Processing and packing of Tate & Lyle and customer branded products on a shift basis, managing 14 packaging lines with varied SKUs and complex syrup processing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operation of plant in compliance with all SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality) standards
• Achievement of required production and OEE targets
• Minimizing waste by maintaining tight specifications for materials released under concession
• Adherence to BRC and customer standards with accurate recording of operational and traceability data
• Maintain a good working knowledge of the entire Plaistow operation

Requirements

• Relevant experience within a Packing/Production environment
• Good knowledge of complex Packing and Process operations essential
• Ability to provide basic holiday/sick cover for Team Leader or Supervisor

Skills

• Good team worker & communicator
• Ability to work alone
• FLT or forklift experience
• Self motivated with a desire for personal & process development
• Good computer skills especially Word & Excel
• Good level of numeracy & literacy
