About the Role
STV is seeking a Sr. Field Inspector to join the firm based in our New York City, NY offices. This position requires flexibility to work shifts as needed, including swing, night, or weekends.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections on existing conditions, work being performed, and completed work for quality, completeness, and accuracy.
- Prepare written documentation, including daily work reports, controlled inspection reports, daily time and material records, and document unit price work.
- Review and mark plans and specifications as needed to ensure and track compliance with the work performed.
- Observe work conditions for compliance to applicable safety regulations.
- Prioritize conflicting needs, handle matters expeditiously, and follow through on projects to successful completion.
- Communicate with various parties on the progress of the work in a timely manner.
- Perform other related duties and tasks as required.
Requirements
- 10 or more years of experience in construction supervision/inspection
- Prior experience with rail, tunnel, structural, station preferred
- Prior experience with substations preferred
- Ability to pass a TWIC and/or SWAC Background Check at High Level
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken)

Salary/Compensations
- $133,635.31 - $152,726.06
