About the Role
This is a senior role at the heart of a COO-sponsored transformation programme. You will lead the delivery of complex, cross-functional change across the business, from technology implementation to business process re-engineering and new ways of working. The role requires navigating a fast-moving, politically nuanced, and intellectually demanding stakeholder environment, shaping the transformation agenda, and driving outcomes from ambiguity.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of one or more transformation programmes from early definition through to measurable business outcomes.
- Work across business functions and with Technology teams to design, plan, and execute change, acting as a bridge between strategic intent and practical delivery.
- Navigate a complex stakeholder landscape using influence, building trusted relationships with senior leaders.
- Establish lightweight but effective governance to maintain grip without slowing down the work.
- Utilize emerging technology, including AI, in daily work and help the organization build confidence in its use.
- Coach and support a Transformation Delivery Lead.
- Support the management and evolution of the organization’s change portfolio, helping to prioritize, sequence, and govern the pipeline of change.
Requirements
- 5-8+ years of proven experience leading complex, cross-functional transformation programmes from design through to implementation in large, fast-paced, multi-site environments.
- Demonstrated experience embedding change and driving adoption of new processes, systems, or ways of working, ensuring benefits are realized and sustained.
- Ability to deliver outcomes, measuring success by what changed, not what was planned.
- Energy, curiosity, and a bias for action, underpinned by grounded, self-aware emotional intelligence.
- A desire to be part of a people-first business, making decisions like an owner, and managing outcomes across multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to build genuine relationships with senior stakeholders, engaging them as partners.
- Comfort operating at the intersection of business and technology, translating between the two.
- Skilled in programme governance, risk management, and benefits tracking, with a track record of delivering large-scale initiatives on time, within budget, and against strategic objectives.
- Ability to think clearly under pressure and adapt when the context shifts.
- Ability to communicate with precision and confidence to various audiences.
- Experience using emerging technology, including AI, as a daily productivity accelerator.
