About the Role

Support the U-Haul community by transporting equipment to and from the repair shop, ensuring customers receive the highest quality of care. U-Haul offers a supportive environment with tools for success and growth, and opportunities for career advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Fill in receipt and intake paperwork electronically.
  • Transport U-Haul equipment between U-Haul centers, dealerships and the repair shop.
  • Perform visual inspections of equipment.
  • Maintain a driver log.
  • Willingly lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of their supervisor.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Able to use mobile transfer programs
  • D.O.T. certification if required—can be sponsored by U-Haul
  • Must be 18 or older
  • The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or chemicals.
  • May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.
  • The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
