About the Role
In this role, you’ll help create a warm and welcoming experience for new residents and families while ensuring their questions, needs, and concerns are addressed with compassion and professionalism. Responsibilities
- Welcome new residents and families to the facility and provide tours and orientation support
- Maintain and update orientation materials and admission-related documentation
- Communicate daily with residents to ensure needs are being met and concerns are addressed promptly
- Maintain logs of resident concerns, follow-up actions, and resolutions
- Ensure subacute rehabilitation rooms are clean, prepared, and ready for admissions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident satisfaction and a positive admission experience
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, visitors, and staff
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a long-term care setting with residents and families required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Positive attitude with strong teamwork and conflict resolution abilities
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism and compassion in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
