About the Role
As a versatile team member, you will support and complement facility managers across various locations in Berlin. Your role involves utilizing your practical skills wherever needed, contributing to the maintenance and upkeep of our diverse educational facilities.
Responsibilities
- Support with moving and construction measures
- Execution of renovation and painting work
- Maintenance of buildings and technical systems
- Inspection and care of outdoor areas and playgrounds
- Garden and green space maintenance work
- Coordination and supervision of external service providers (e.g., maintenance companies)
- Execution of repair and maintenance measures for building equipment
- Ensuring building safety (traffic safety obligations)
- Purchase of materials and tools
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in a craft, (building) technical field, or comparable qualification
- Ideally several years of practical experience in property management
- German language skills at least B2 level
- Possession of a Class B driver's license
- Existing knowledge of fire protection, occupational safety, and MS Office operation
