About the Role
The BEW Berliner Energie und Wärme GmbH is seeking a Manager of Corporate Security to support the development and operational implementation of physical security, IT, OT, and information security measures, considering regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Participate in national associations and committees in the security environment and represent the interests of corporate security.
- Contribute to the further development and updating of the internal security-related regulatory framework, with a particular focus on projects.
- Support the performance of governance tasks in the area of corporate security.
- Take on the technical management and consulting of Security Officers in projects.
- Accompany tender and awarding processes for security-related services.
- Act as the technical point of contact for procurement on security-related issues.
- Support the implementation and further development of requirements from the KRITIS umbrella law.
- Participate in the execution and further development of Security Risk Assessments and be responsible for maintaining, digitizing, and updating relevant data.
- Support the establishment and further development of Business Continuity Management (BCM).
Requirements
- Completed Master's or Diploma degree in Security Management, Engineering, Administrative Sciences, or a comparable field.
- Several years of relevant professional experience in corporate security, in the KRITIS environment, or in Governance, Risk, or Compliance Management.
- Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and governance standards, as well as their impact on Critical Infrastructure companies.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, combined with a structured, self-reliant, and solution-oriented approach to work.
- Convincing communication and consulting skills, as well as experience in collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in interpreting and implementing complex regulatory requirements and the ability to derive practical solutions for the company.
- Fluent German language skills at a minimum C1 level, both written and spoken.
- Approximately 70 percent of the requirements are sufficient for application.
