About the Role
Operate heavy machinery in a warehouse setting, handling the loading, securing, unloading, and protection of various goods. This role involves distinguishing and transporting labeled containers to designated areas.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and maintain current forklift certification.
- Operate forklift and pallet jacks within warehouse and dock area when required.
- Neatly and accurately complete required paperwork including manifest, donation count sheets, and truck seals.
- Accurately and immediately report incidents and accidents to the supervisor.
- Perform operator-level maintenance on assigned equipment, including daily pre and post trip safety checks.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Must have adequate eyesight, hearing, and hand-eye coordination.
- Must be able to follow directions well.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
- Post offer background check is required to ensure applicant meets all eligibility requirements for the assigned customer/location.
