Responsibilities
- Perform site inspections and verify compliance with company guidelines.
- Complete and file permit applications accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with and verify inventory reconciliations and 7-day reports.
- Follow up on inspections and testing to ensure compliance with all required tests.
- Communicate with governmental agencies regarding inspections or documentation requests.
- Develop compliance programs in accordance with the petroleum business.
- Coordinate and collaborate with site staff and management to ensure site compliance.
- Plan, prepare, and develop environmental programs and policies for the company.
- Balance company needs with regulatory authority requirements.
- Assist in preparing reports, documents, and other compliance materials.
- Monitor the waste management program, oversee disposal and treatment, and manage safety precautions for hazardous situations.
- Provide technical assistance and training materials to managers and operating staff on environmental standardization, regulatory requirements, and work hazards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Operator AB Certified in CT and MA required.
- Knowledge of tank systems and piping systems required.
- Knowledge of Titan or similar programs and tank gauging systems is a plus.
- Sound knowledge of environmental programs and proceedings.
- Ability to communicate effectively with environmental regulating authorities.
- Critical reviewing skills for analysis.
- Ability to develop technical reports on conducted research.

Education Level
