About the Role

Responsibilities

• Install and repair all aspects of CCTV (analog and IP), Access Control, Burglar Alarm, and associated equipment.
• Document all aspects of installation and service calls.
• Perform preventive maintenance on indoor and outdoor equipment.
• Pull wire.
• Operate lifts and work at various heights.
• Abide by all customer and company safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background investigation.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift an 80 lb. extension ladder.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and/or scaffolds.
• Ability to work from heights such as man lifts, scissor lifts, utilizing fall protection.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Skills

• Strong organizational, time-management, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Flexibility to work extended hours, on-call schedule, and travel overnight as needed.
• Follows safe and secure practices to safeguard against injury, damage to property, and confidential information.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and computers.
• Ability to effectively use hand and power tools.
• Experience with CCTV / Access control products and services.

Work Type

• Full Time
• Embedded role 2-3 days a week

Experience Level

• 5+ years of hands on experience in a similar position.

Education Level

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturer Certifications: Honeywell, Kantech, American Dynamics, Prowatch, Victor, VMS or other types of security platforms.
