About the Role
Responsible for the upkeep, repair, and efficient operation of facility infrastructure and utility equipment. This role ensures all systems are functioning safely and reliably, supporting continuous operations through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordination with internal teams and external contractors.
Responsibilities
- Performs plumbing maintenance to provide operable and efficient plumbing capabilities.
- Maintains and repairs all building finishes and associated support equipment.
- Installs insulation to building walls, ceilings and floors to provide sound and thermal barriers.
- Performs painting, carpentry and masonry work to provide operable and efficient facilities.
- Conducts repairs and performs preventive maintenance tasks on all utility equipment.
- Executes general work requests.
- Is proficient in filter installation, maintenance, and testing.
- Maintains, repairs, installs, lubricates, and adjusts all types of utility equipment.
- Conducts data recording assignments as required.
- Prepares and maintains detailed equipment, plant operations, and preventive maintenance records for cGMP compliance.
- Monitors and adjusts building environmental and equipment operational set points.
- Responds to out of specification situations as required.
- Identifies and analyzes operating, maintenance, and repair problems and recommends corrective action.
- Performs minor electrical maintenance including replacement or repair of fixtures.
- Conducts daily inspections of facility equipment and services.
- Maintains logs of daily equipment readings as required.
- Additional responsibilities that management may assign.
Requirements
- Must be proficient in filter installation, maintenance, and testing.
- Must be able to maintain, repair, install, lubricate, and adjust all types of utility equipment.
- Must be able to conduct data recording assignments as required.
- Must be able to prepare and maintain detailed equipment, plant operations, and preventive maintenance records for cGMP compliance.
- Must be able to monitor and adjust building environmental and equipment operational set points.
- Must be able to respond to out of specification situations as required.
- Must be able to identify and analyze operating, maintenance, and repair problems and recommend corrective action.
- Must be able to perform minor electrical maintenance.
- Must be able to conduct daily inspections of facility equipment and services.
