About the Role
Sumitomo is seeking a Centerless - Machine Operator to join their manufacturing team. This role involves operating machinery for repetitive parts processing under supervision, with opportunities for career growth.
Responsibilities
- Operate one or more machines to perform simple machine operations on highly repetitive and standardized parts and details on metal or other material.
- Follow instructions on operating procedures.
- Perform duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or its equivalent.
- Knowledge of machine shop practices, techniques, and operations.
- Basic math, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to follow directions.
Skills
- Previous experience operating CNC grinding equipment such as; Walter, Ewag, Rollamatic, ANCA, Waida, etc. (strongly preferred).
