About the Role
As part of HDR’s Building Engineering Services Group, you’ll help design the critical infrastructure that supports the digital age and shapes the spaces where people work, connect, and thrive. Your work will directly support technological advancement, sustainability, and human experience by optimizing energy efficiency, integrating resilient systems, or engineering the backbone of next-generation facilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the responsibility for operations of respective business class including staff development, resource management, timecard monitoring, and quality control
- Assist in ensuring all work is planned, organised, controlled and coordinated with Project Managers
- Assist in selection, training, development and management of technical personnel
- Be prepared to manage a group of up to 8 members of technical staff within respective business class
- Management of contingent workers
- Continue to perform other duties as required by current role and job description
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 7 years experience
- Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Ability to handle multiple assignments
- Good leadership and organizational skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
