About the Role
Pagan Idol, a Tiki bar in San Francisco's Financial District, seeks a bartender to host daily escapes by crafting experiences and cocktails amidst a unique tropical island theme. Bartenders are expected to master classic and craft cocktail techniques and possess prior bar experience.
Responsibilities
- Prep, setup, and prepare the bar for daily service
- Prioritize guest orders and strive to deliver drinks promptly and efficiently
- Take and return a variety of payment types with accuracy
- Assist in cleaning and sanitizing, as necessary
- Keep work relationships professional and courteous
Requirements
- Preferred 2 years of bartending experience in a busy hotel, restaurant, or nightclub
- Knowledge of various drink-building techniques and styles
- Knowledge of tiki-style drinks and culture is a plus
- Managerial experience will be an advantage
- Demonstrate an ability to maintain strong coworker relationships
- Demonstrate attention to detail
- Flexible evening availability
- Able to take direction and follow through on all reasonable requests from managers
- Able to stand for 8 hours
- Able to lift 25 pounds
