About the Role
A Drop Count Associate performs tasks including collecting slot machines and drop boxes, counting and strapping currency, organizing paperwork, and entering data into a computer. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to company policies and legal compliance.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent guest service to both internal and external guests.
- Actively supports the company culture of creating a fun and entertaining experience for internal and external guests.
- Maintains a thorough, working knowledge of laws, rules and regulations of the Gaming Commission, as well as company policies, procedures and controls.
- Ensures the integrity of all Soft Count transactions.
- Oversees box drop collection process and counting money.
- Completes all accounting and other required paperwork related to Slot and table games cash and ticket drops.
- Facilitates the flow of information by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
- Held accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
- Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
Requirements
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must be comfortable following company policies, procedures and controls without question.
- Ensures compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations of the Gaming Commission, and Federal and State laws governing monetary transactions.
- The Employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
