About the Role

As the Software Development Manager, you will lead the EDO Content Delivery team in a "Player / Coach" capacity, contributing hands-on to the team's success. You will collaborate with peers to optimize software applications and data solutions, including product reference data management and client-facing data applications. Your role involves leading a global team, resource planning, talent development, and vendor management to build innovative, scalable, and resilient solutions.

Responsibilities

Manage partnerships with business leaders, stakeholders, and IT to develop and promote content delivery data solutions.
Translate stakeholder needs into technical solutions.
Impact product, architecture, software design, and engineering with a focus on intuitive front-end creation, robust backend frameworks, and strong data design.
Lead, mentor, and develop the team using industry best practices in engineering, data, and AI.
Set engineering standards, contribute directly to complex code, and problem-solving.
Guide the team of individual contributors by setting expectations and monitoring their progress.
Manage a globally dispersed team and contribute input to scale a global organization through resourcing/location strategy.

Requirements

Proven track record delivering solutions in complex organizations.
Experience with AWS, Databricks, DBT, PySpark, React, JavaScript Terraform.
Fast learner, thrives in ambiguity, translates vision into product scope.
Passion for automation and user experience innovation.
Builds high-performing teams, leverages staff for efficiency.
Experience developing and coaching associates to meet business goals.
Experience with AI/ML/Gen AI/LLM is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
