About the Role
The Credit Risk Analytics IT team is responsible for designing, integrating, and supporting Middle Office Risk systems using the third-party S&P Global Financial Risk Analytics (FRA) simulation and pricing engine. This role will lead the team in defining strategy, architecture, managing development, and supporting the rollout of enhancements to the Credit Risk IT platform to meet organizational demands and regulatory changes.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Credit Risk Analytics IT team across onshore, nearshore, and offshore locations.
- Define the strategic architecture and design of the international risk platform.
- Deliver risk project programmes, managing scope, implementing target architectures, and detailed planning.
- Ensure transparency around delivery status, risks, and dependencies.
- Guide technical design decisions and act as SME for credit risk concepts and regulatory drivers.
- Oversee hiring strategy, performance management, and talent retention.
- Ensure team compliance with mandatory company activities.
- Develop systems to meet satisfactory internal and external audits and manage End of Life and Security Vulnerabilities.
- Ensure daily delivery of Credit Risk measures within the specified Service Level Agreement.
- Lead, mentor, and develop multi-disciplinary teams.
- Build a high-performing team focusing on technical depth, domain expertise, and leadership succession.
- Establish a strong engineering and risk culture, including accountability, quality, and continuous improvement, with use of AI.
- Represent the team in global governance forums, steering committees, and risk transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience leading and implementing PFE analytic solutions preferably in cloud computing environments with a good understanding of .NET tech stack and distributed programming concepts for a financial organization or third-party vendor.
- Experience leading and implementing Market Risk (VAR, Stress, FRTB) engines for a financial organization or third-party vendor.
- Experience with S&P Global Financial Risk Analytics (FRA) Risk/Pricing platform.
- Strong understanding of Counterparty Collateral, Netting & Market Data in Credit Risk pricing.
- Solid understanding and hands-on pricing of Derivatives, Mortgage-Backed Securities, Repos, Stock Borrow Lending and Agency lending (ALDOP).
- Strong C#, .Net Core Web API and SQL development experience.
- Experience working on large scale applications (Front to Back), Feeds capture, Processing, Pricing and Reporting.
- Stakeholder management.

- Practical experience of TeamCity, Jira, SVN, GitHub, Visual Studio, Powershell.
- Strong understanding of the underlying mechanics of Securities products such as Bonds and Equities.

- Experience of S&Ps FraimWRX Risk engine.
- Practical experience of Azure Data Lake and Azure Kubernetes Service.

- Reconciliation skills of Credit Risk exposures between PFE Risk Engine and Reporting Systems.
- Experience of Control-M batch scheduling system (or similar).
