About the Role
Costain is seeking a Project Engineering Manager (Civil & Structural) to join their Constructability Team, supporting strategic delivery programmes and engineering services for UK rail clients. This role involves leading and coordinating multi-disciplinary engineering teams across the project lifecycle, managing the delivery of complex engineering designs, and defining client requirements.
Responsibilities
- Managing the delivery of multi-disciplinary engineering design on complex projects through various stages of the project life cycle.
- Meeting project schedule, budget, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
- Defining and agreeing requirements with clients.
Requirements
- Significant experience in designing and acting in a Project Engineering Manager role in civil & structural on infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects.
- Experience throughout the entire project lifecycle: from needs and solution identification, optioneering, outline design and detailed design in a design and build environment.
- Client-facing experience (both internal and external).
