About the Role

As a Shift Engineer at The Sheraton Grand London Park Lane Hotel, you will play an essential role in maintaining the hotel's facilities, equipment, and infrastructure to the highest standards. You will carry out planned preventative maintenance, respond to repair requests, and help ensure all building systems operate safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
• Respond to repair requests.
• Ensure all building systems operate safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with teams across the hotel, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Events.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar Engineering or Maintenance role.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing or HVAC systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive and customer-focused approach.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required.
