About the Role
This role offers hands-on experience in environmental protection by supporting the financial heart of one of Germany's largest environmental organizations. You will contribute to ongoing financial accounting and help streamline processes.
Responsibilities
- Support ongoing financial accounting, including processing and verifying incoming invoices and donation/contribution bookings.
- Assist with open invoice inquiries, retrieving and scanning documents, and improving process efficiency and transparency.
- Support the reconciliation of bookings.
- Work with modern accounting tools and contribute ideas for optimization.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues from other departments to understand the financial steering of the organization.
Requirements
- Currently studying Business Administration, Economics, or a related field with an interest in accounting/finance.
- Proficient in PC usage and standard software (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Basic knowledge and experience in commercial processes.
- Structured and careful work approach with good numerical understanding.
- Enjoyment of routine tasks.
- Very good German language skills (minimum C1) for clear communication.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
