About the Role
Direct concrete construction projects and guide substation construction structural activities in a high-voltage environment. This role involves leading a crew across our service territory with paid overnight travel, offering opportunities for growth within a company focused on enhancing the lives of Central Texans.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily activities of the substation construction crew in project execution.
- Ensure crew safety through established safety procedures and protocols.
- Serve as the on-site leader for all crew members in the absence of supervisors.
- Provide detailed reporting of construction status to leadership.
Requirements
- Seven or more years of experience in electrical or mechanical equipment installation, maintenance, or repair in a high-voltage environment or transmission line installation, maintenance, or repair.
- A degree(s) in electrical power theory, electronics, instrumentation, controls, industrial or mechanical maintenance or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
- Class A Texas commercial driver's license.
