About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Support, organize, mentor, and train kitchen team members.
  • Prepare and present food to a high standard, maintaining product and menu knowledge.
  • Ensure quality, portion control, and adherence to recipes.
  • Maintain compliance with Food Safety, COSHH, Health & Safety, hygiene, allergen, and company policies.
  • Accurately complete temperature records, allergen documentation, and cleaning schedules.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in kitchen areas and equipment.
  • Support the Head Chef with ordering, stock control, costing, and budget maintenance.
  • Supervise and support casual team members.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to complaints promptly.
  • Report and take action on operational issues, including equipment faults and safety concerns.
  • Take a proactive, professional approach and promote the company positively.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties requested by management.

Requirements

  • Previous experience of working in a kitchen.
  • Passion for food.
  • Focused on the front line.
  • Genuine interest in customer service excellence.
  • Team player.

Work Type

  • 40 Hours Per Week
  • Monday to Friday
