About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute medium- and long-term business plans for assets held within REIT and private fund portfolios.
  • Prepare and manage annual operating budgets, forecasts, and strategic asset plans.
  • Design and implement asset-level initiatives aimed at maximizing fund performance and long-term value creation.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and proactively identify opportunities to enhance asset returns and operational efficiency.
  • Support portfolio-level decision-making through rigorous analysis and strategic recommendations.
  • Lead initiatives to improve asset profitability and maximize portfolio income.
  • Identify and execute strategies to enhance NOI and investment returns.
  • Collaborate with leasing, property management, development, and investment teams to implement value-enhancing initiatives.
  • Evaluate asset performance against business plans and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
  • Conduct Hold/Sell analyses and asset reviews to support investment decision-making.
  • Lead asset disposition initiatives, including transaction planning, due diligence coordination, and execution.
  • Support acquisition and disposition closings in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare financial analyses and business cases to support strategic asset management decisions.
  • Build and analyze cash flow models to evaluate investment scenarios and portfolio strategies.
  • Prepare asset-level, portfolio-level, and investor reporting materials.
  • Present investment performance, business plans, and strategic initiatives to internal stakeholders and fund management teams.
  • Coordinate with institutional investors and stakeholders on portfolio updates and reporting requirements.
  • Manage relationships with lenders, advisors, consultants, legal counsel, valuation firms, and other external partners.
  • Partner with Investment Management, Fund Management, Property Management, Leasing, Development, Finance, and Legal teams to execute business plans.
  • Contribute to broader platform initiatives and strategic projects.
  • Support continuous improvement of asset management processes, analytics, and reporting capabilities.
  • Share knowledge and best practices across teams to strengthen overall platform performance.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of real estate asset management experience.
  • Experience gained within asset management companies, investment managers, investment banks, financial institutions, insurance companies, trading houses, or other institutional investment organizations.
  • Proven experience managing commercial real estate investments and executing asset-level business plans.
  • Strong financial modeling and cash flow analysis capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate and execute asset management initiatives that drive investment performance.
  • Real estate acquisition and disposition experience.
  • Exposure to logistics, industrial, office, retail, or alternative real estate asset classes.
  • Business-level English, particularly for reading and written communication.
  • Experience leading or mentoring junior team members.
  • Institutional investor interaction and reporting experience.
