About the Role

The IT Operations Professional handles all local IT Operations in the UK market, focusing on day-to-day IT support, maintaining IT equipment inventory, and supporting local IT projects. Responsibilities

  • Ensures professional end-user IT onboarding.
  • Organizes and provides day-to-day IT support, including remote service desk utilization.
  • Facilitates fast resolutions for IT issues.
  • Ensures professional and regular IT service communication to end-users.
  • Organizes and provides IT security and end-user IT service trainings.
  • Administrates local end-user account access and permissions.
  • Supports local infrastructure components in cooperation with second-level support.
  • Communicates limitations, improvements, or simplification ideas for current services, processes, and tools.
  • Leverages Incident, Request, Problem, Outage, and Change Management processes.
  • Stays up-to-date with emerging technologies, including generative AI, and explores their compliant application.
  • Ensures an up-to-date and accurate IT asset inventory.
  • Coordinates end-user device roll-out and replacement cycles.
  • Ensures equipment purchase processes align with standards.
  • Manages printer life-cycle, local phone service, and local IT service hardware/hosting.
  • Coordinates the RMA process for hardware components.
  • Organizes needed IT facilities and Red Bull IT standards for subsidiary/branch offices.
  • Manages local network infrastructure, including events.
  • Ensures local project tasks deploying global IT services achieve high end-user satisfaction.
  • Supports local IT and/or business projects, leading defined work packages.
  • Aligns local business needs with the IT Area Europe team.
  • Supports local Finance Manager with IT budget planning.
  • Takes over assignments using global and area-specific project management methods.
  • Coordinates external vendors and partners.
  • Maintains full ownership of meeting room and event spaces.
  • Owns RBUK Employee onboarding (hardware and inductions).
  • Owns the AV tender process for external vendors and support partners.
  • Manages digital signage and content, delivering solutions and promoting RB content.
  • Aligns with HQ on Windows client and MacBook topics, ensuring UK market adoption of latest clients and best practices.
  • Maintains the UK iPhone/iPad fleet, ensuring data accuracy and support processes.
  • Handles purchasing for Windows client/MacBook related topics, consumables, and project purchases.
  • Aligns with IT Manager on budget topics for BP targets and budget control.
  • Supports and maintains all IT network office infrastructure for maximum uptime.
  • Owns IT Security topics, ensuring a compliant and threat-free environment.

Requirements

  • IT education or equivalent experience.
  • Proven AV specific skills – implementation and support of AV systems.
  • Experience with Digital signage topics and integration.
  • Prince Project management qualification or equivalent.
  • Some budget experience would be advantageous.
  • Strong communicator and relator, tact in dealing with end-users.
  • Solid knowhow in Win10, Mac, AD, Exchange, Networking and Security Services.
  • ITIL v3 experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills towards IT peers around the globe.
  • Team-oriented, self-motivated personality, hands-on and flexible personality.
