About the Role

We are seeking a talented Junior Editor & Motion Designer to join Studio La Plage, contributing to exceptional films, social content, and animated campaigns for leading brands. This role involves shaping films from assembly to delivery and creating engaging motion graphics, supporting a variety of projects and learning from an experienced team.

Responsibilities

• Edit branded films, social content, case studies, and campaign assets across various formats.
• Assemble rushes, develop edits, and refine films based on feedback.
• Shape pacing, narrative, and emotional storytelling in edits.
• Prepare projects for color, sound mix, and final delivery.
• Organize media, project files, and edit workflows professionally.
• Create motion graphics and animated assets for social, digital, and film projects.
• Animate typography, graphics, and visual identities using After Effects.
• Animate presentations, pitch work, and campaign assets.
• Collaborate with designers to translate static layouts into engaging animations.
• Explore new techniques to enhance the creative standard of work.
• Work alongside creatives, designers, strategists, and producers.
• Contribute ideas during creative development and post-production.
• Support presentations, internal initiatives, and new business opportunities.
• Stay informed about emerging trends, techniques, and creative technology.
• Maintain organized project files and edit structures.
• Manage projects and deadlines with team support.
• Be proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn.
• Help foster a positive, ambitious studio culture with open idea sharing.

Requirements

• Around 1 to 2 years of experience in an editing, motion design, or post-production role.
• Strong editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Good working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and motion design principles.
• An eye for pacing, composition, and visual storytelling.
• Confidence working across various formats, from social-first content to longer-form films.
• A genuine interest in documentary storytelling, craft, and contemporary visual culture.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to take feedback positively and continuously develop work.
• Collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working with multidisciplinary creative teams.
• A portfolio demonstrating creativity, curiosity, and potential.
