About the Role
The Programme Manager is responsible for the successful planning, governance, delivery, and business outcomes of large-scale ERP transformation programmes and integrated SaaS platforms. The role provides strategic leadership across multiple projects and workstreams, ensuring alignment with business objectives while delivering programmes on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale ERP and enterprise transformation programmes across multiple workstreams and geographies.
- Define programme vision, objectives, scope, governance structures, and measurable business outcomes.
- Establish and maintain integrated programme plans, ensuring alignment across business, technology, data, testing, and change management teams.
- Provide leadership and direction to programme teams, project managers, solution architects, and delivery partners.
- Manage executive stakeholder relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for programme governance and strategic decision-making.
- Drive programme governance, steering committee reporting, status management, and executive communications.
- Oversee programme budgets, forecasts, commercial performance, and financial controls to ensure successful delivery within approved funding.
- Proactively manage programme risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, and change requests across all programme workstreams.
- Coordinate implementation and deployment activities, including cutover planning, business readiness, and go-live governance.
- Ensure effective collaboration between business teams, system integrators, vendors, and internal technology functions.
- Drive quality assurance, testing oversight, and operational readiness to ensure successful programme outcomes.
- Support organisational change management, user adoption, training, and business transition activities.
- Promote continuous improvement, delivery excellence, and adherence to programme management standards and methodologies.
- Support business development, programme mobilization, and pre-sales activities where required.
Requirements
- 12–15 years of progressive experience in Programme Management, ERP Transformation Delivery, Portfolio Management, or Enterprise Change Programmes within complex enterprise environments.
- Proven experience leading large-scale ERP transformation programmes involving any leading ERP platforms such as Oracle, SAP, Workday, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Strong experience delivering integrated business transformation initiatives involving cloud and SaaS applications such as ADP, Concur, ServiceNow, or similar enterprise platforms.
- Demonstrated success managing multi-million-dollar programmes with multiple workstreams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of programme governance, strategic planning, risk management, financial management, and organisational change.
- Experience overseeing programme lifecycle activities including planning, design, implementation, testing, deployment, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Strong knowledge of delivery methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid, and enterprise transformation frameworks.
- Proven ability to influence and engage senior executives, steering committees, and cross-functional leadership teams.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
- Experience working within multi-vendor and global delivery environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
- Professional certifications such as PMP, MSP, PRINCE2, SAFe, Agile, or ITIL are highly desirable.
