About the Role
Adobe Design is seeking a Sr Product Designer for the PDF Spaces incubation team within Document Cloud. This role involves working on new AI-driven experiences in Acrobat, redefining how users interact with and derive value from documents. This is an opportunity to define interaction models in an early-stage, exploratory environment that ships to users.
Responsibilities
- Explore ambiguous, early-stage problem spaces to generate concepts and identify promising directions.
- Develop sketches, end-to-end flows, prototypes, and polished UI, adapting fidelity as needed.
- Translate complex AI capabilities into intuitive experiences for everyday document users.
- Develop and advocate for a strong point of view grounded in user research and data.
- Collaborate with research, product management, engineering, and content strategy for alignment and rapid progress.
- Drive alignment through compelling storytelling and present build rationale confidently to partners and leadership.
- Uphold a high standard for design craft and contribute to the growth of teammates.
Requirements
- 6+ years of product design experience, or a related degree with equivalent practical experience.
- A portfolio demonstrating strong UX and visual design across responsive, multi-surface experiences.
- Experience working in early-stage, exploratory, or 0-to-1 product spaces.
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to make progress without a clear brief or complete information.
- Strong visual and interaction craft, with the range to move from rough explorations to polished, shippable UI.
- Proficiency in Figma and ability to convey ideas through prototyping.
- Strong problem-solving skills and solid grounding in core UX principles and methodologies.
- Empathy for customers and teammates, with a process rooted in listening and understanding.
- Ability to clearly communicate complex ideas verbally and in writing, at all levels of the organization.
- Familiarity with AI/ML-powered product experiences.
- Experience designing accessible and inclusive interfaces for people with disabilities.
- Understanding of applying WCAG conformance criteria in design.
- Accessibility certifications CPACC, WAS, CPWA, or ADS from the IAAP preferred.
