About the Role
RBC is seeking a Senior Manager to support the Data Insights and Analytics function for the Distribution Transformation Program. This role is critical in driving large-scale distribution transformation by building a data analytics and insights function, establishing performance monitoring mechanisms, enabling use-cases, and driving management insights.
Responsibilities
- Champion design and delivery of scalable data assets, dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and recommendations.
- Proactively support senior leadership with strategic insights across multiple lines of business, channels, and products.
- Act as a key contributor to national initiatives and strategic projects by leading analysis, generating insights, and supporting change through data storytelling.
- Apply advanced analytical techniques to deepen performance insights and support data-driven decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement of transformation reporting processes and establish performance monitoring routines.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with data experts and business partners, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial services, specifically within data analytics & insights / strategy.
- Proven experience in analytics, with a focus on performance management and delivering strategic business insights.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Solid knowledge of data management principles, data pipelines, and best practices in handling large datasets.
- Skilled in trend analysis and forecasting.
- Hands-on experience with Tableau for data visualization and dashboard development.
- Hands-on experience with data tools (e.g., SQL, Python/R, Power BI, Tableau, Advanced Excel).
