About the Role

Club L London is seeking a Senior Technologist to join their team, focusing on ensuring the perfect fit and quality of their fashion products. This role involves close collaboration with design, production, and merchandising teams, managing fit sessions, and communicating with a global supply base to meet high standards.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the design, production, and merchandising team throughout the product development process.
• Own and lead live fit sessions, collaborating with the design team to achieve the perfect Club L London product.
• Create comprehensive, logical, and clearly written fit comments with supporting imagery and diagrams.
• Communicate daily with a global supply base to ensure products are manufactured to required fit and quality standards.
• Prioritize workload to ensure critical business deadlines are achieved.
• Approve care labels and test reports.
• Manage departmental product returns, investigating high returning styles and bringing solutions to achieve company returns targets.
• Develop junior members of the team to support progression within the department.
• Support and educate suppliers to achieve consistent quality and fit across a global supply base.
• Implement departmental projects to standardize and improve ways of working.
• Work closely with the inbound QC team to improve quality and minimize customer returns.
• Travel as required to visit the supply base and warehouse.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a senior technologist is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to fit accurately and at speed to ensure Club L London are first to market with the latest trends.
• Strong understanding of pattern cutting and garment construction; a pattern cutting background is preferred but not essential.
• Attention to detail is key to maintain the brand's quality standards.
• An understanding of testing and compliance is essential.
• Passionate about the Club L London product, customer-focused attitude, and commercial eye.
• Must be organized and able to lead and work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Desire to progress and grow within a team, taking on extra responsibilities where relevant.
