About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our ANZ Software Delivery team. You’ll work closely with Product Owners, Business SMEs, Solution Architects, Engineers and Test teams to deliver high-quality software and technology solutions across our insurance portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery workshops and gather business, customer and regulatory requirements
- Translate complex needs into clear, prioritised and delivery-ready requirements
- Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps and business rules
- Partner with business and technical teams throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Support solution design, backlog refinement, prioritisation and delivery planning
- Identify risks, dependencies and impacts across software, integration, data and reporting initiatives
- Support testing, business validation and successful implementation
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior, Technical or Technology Business Analyst
- Strong experience working in complex software or technology delivery environments
- Experience with Agile, hybrid or product-led delivery models
- Knowledge of system integrations, APIs, data, reporting or cloud technologies
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and process-mapping capabilities
- The ability to confidently bridge the gap between business and technology
- Experience in insurance, claims, workers’ compensation or another regulated industry would be highly regarded but is not essential
