Responsibilities

Conduct high-quality empirical research on the impact of AI on work, leadership, and organizations.
Collect, analyze, and interpret qualitative and quantitative research data.
Engage with industry partners, support research projects, and translate findings into practical outcomes for organizations and policymakers.
Prepare publications, reports, and presentations for academic, industry, and policy audiences.

Requirements

Must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of the employment.
Employment is conditional upon the completion of all role-required pre-employment or background checks.
A completed PhD in a relevant discipline is required.
Demonstrated ability to conduct high-quality research.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Experience working with qualitative and/or quantitative research methods.
Ability to engage effectively with a range of senior and junior stakeholders.
Organized, proactive, and collaborative.
Genuine interest in producing research that informs practice and contributes to meaningful outcomes.

Skills

PhD in a relevant discipline such as information systems, organizational studies, business, management, leadership, sociology or a related field
Good understanding of AI as a technology, beyond merely using AI tools
Demonstrated experience conducting research and contributing to academic publications
Experience in qualitative and/or quantitative research design, data collection and analysis
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate findings to diverse audiences
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Experience building productive relationships with academic, industry and external stakeholders
A proactive, adaptable and collaborative approach to research and teamwork
