About the Role
Establish a strategic vision for the Landfill, Energy Recovery Facility (ERF), Agricultural Services, and Construction sectors within the Treatment business. Develop and enhance the R&A team's capabilities to effectively support daily operations and guide the business toward achieving an Active Risk Culture. Lead the effective planning, support, and continuous improvement of both planned maintenance outages and construction projects. Drive consistency and implement improvements.
Responsibilities
- Establish a strategic vision for the Landfill, Energy Recovery Facility (ERF), Agricultural Services, and Construction sectors within the Treatment business.
- Develop and enhance the R&A team's capabilities to effectively support daily operations and guide the business toward achieving an Active Risk Culture.
- Lead the effective planning, support, and continuous improvement of both planned maintenance outages and construction projects.
- Involve in the broader R&A improvement programme, where the team is responsible for developing and spearheading the implementation of initiatives.
- Conduct trend analysis and identify key risk areas across the Landfill, ERF, Agricultural Services, and Construction sectors, focusing specifically on the Technical and Construction aspects of the business.
- Drive consistency and implement improvements.
Requirements
- Experience in a Safety Advisor Role, ideally in waste management, construction and maintenance.
- Auditing experience.
- The ability to influence key stakeholders on site.
- Motivated to be actively part of the improvement programme and implementation of this within operational sites.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide industry-leading customer service to all internal and external customers.
