About the Role

This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth flow of inbound freight, inventory, customer orders, transport coordination, and day-to-day warehouse operations. You will act as a key point of contact for internal & external stakeholders helping resolve inbound, inventory and distribution issues while supporting operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the inbound & inventory team members
  • Managing inbound enquiries from customers, transport providers, and internal stakeholders
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, stock issues, and customer concerns
  • Expedite urgent receipts, orders, and dispatches to meet service requirements
  • Coordinate with Transport, Customer Service, Materials Management, and Quality teams
  • Ensure compliance with Good Warehousing Practice (GWP), ISO standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to KPI monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Analyse operational trends and recommend process improvements
  • Maintain high standards of workplace safety, quality, and environmental compliance

Requirements

  • Previous experience in warehousing, distribution, or logistics operations
  • Strong inventory management and problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate computer skills and experience using warehouse management systems or RF technology
  • Current licence to operate materials handling equipment (e.g. forklift)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities
  • Flexibility to swap between roles within the warehouse environment to suit business requirements
  • Understanding of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Dangerous Goods Storage and Handling certification
  • Experience working within a regulated environment such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, or medical devices
