About the Role
This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth flow of inbound freight, inventory, customer orders, transport coordination, and day-to-day warehouse operations. You will act as a key point of contact for internal & external stakeholders helping resolve inbound, inventory and distribution issues while supporting operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Managing the inbound & inventory team members
- Managing inbound enquiries from customers, transport providers, and internal stakeholders
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, stock issues, and customer concerns
- Expedite urgent receipts, orders, and dispatches to meet service requirements
- Coordinate with Transport, Customer Service, Materials Management, and Quality teams
- Ensure compliance with Good Warehousing Practice (GWP), ISO standards, and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to KPI monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Analyse operational trends and recommend process improvements
- Maintain high standards of workplace safety, quality, and environmental compliance
Requirements
- Previous experience in warehousing, distribution, or logistics operations
- Strong inventory management and problem-solving skills
- Intermediate computer skills and experience using warehouse management systems or RF technology
- Current licence to operate materials handling equipment (e.g. forklift)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities
- Flexibility to swap between roles within the warehouse environment to suit business requirements
- Understanding of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Dangerous Goods Storage and Handling certification
- Experience working within a regulated environment such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, or medical devices
