About the Role
The PR Specialist for the Fashion Division is responsible for enhancing brand awareness and strengthening presence through comprehensive PR activities, leveraging extensive knowledge of fashion, market trends, and communication. Working under the direction of the PR Manager and Senior Specialist, this role effectively conveys the brand's core values and DNA, collaborating with the team to achieve strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Overall public relations operations
- PR activities including print, digital, and influencers
- Media exposure management (negotiation, progress management, proofreading)
- Press release creation and distribution (including translation and proofreading)
- Building and maintaining relationships with editors, press, stylists, opinion leaders, and celebrities
- Data collection and basic analysis of PR activities
- Support for executing PR initiatives in collaboration with the Paris HQ PR team
- Media interview support (including on-site coordination and shooting attendance)
- Preparation and operational support for exhibitions and events
- Sample management
- Conducting purchasing, lease appointments, and inventory management in cooperation with assistants
- Reporting to the Paris HQ PR team
- Document creation, data entry, information gathering, and competitor analysis support
- Internal communication tasks
- Liaison, coordination, and support with relevant departments
- System tool management
- Data entry and management
- Budget management support
- Support for budget management and basic analysis under the direction of the PR Manager
- Team support
- Cooperating with PR Coordinators and Assistants to ensure accurate and smooth daily operations
Requirements
- Over 3 years of PR experience in the luxury fashion industry
- Fundamental knowledge of PR and understanding of the industry
- Knowledge of media and influencers
- High accuracy and execution ability
- Basic analytical and reporting skills
- Coordination and communication skills (building good relationships with internal and external stakeholders)
- Language proficiency: Business level Japanese and English (conversation, reading, and writing) (TOEIC 800+)
- PC skills: Word (creation of various internal and external documents/materials), Excel (functions, data table creation), PowerPoint (creation of meeting materials)
